CalDev Studio is one studio, one name, one person. Dave has spent more than twenty years managing sites running WordPress software — the unglamorous work of keeping local businesses online.
No stock headshot. The mark is the face of the studio.
The product is simple on purpose. Paste a live URL. Get a homepage mock. If the mock fits, take one of the few installs that week. The Refresh is built so Google and AI answer systems can read the site — not so a theme marketplace can look busy.
The brand is CalDev Studio, singular. It is not CaliDev or CaliDevs. Those names already belong to another shop selling into San Diego. Dave works from La Jolla and serves San Diego shops that already have customers.
There is no invented case-study wall here, no borrowed logos, and no “500 sites launched” counter. Capacity is three or four installs a week because that is what one person can stand behind.
WordPress is software other people trademarked. CalDev Studio does not put that mark in the logo or the title. The work is on sites running WordPress software, and the care plan is hosting for WordPress — not a product called “WordPress hosting.”
